We love two venues equally — how do we choose between them?
When two venues are comparable on vision and atmosphere, the decision usually comes down to four practical factors: accommodation (can your guests sleep on-site, or will they need transfers?), catering flexibility (preferred vendor or in-house exclusivity?), contract terms (deposit structure, cancellation policy, rain plan), and total cost at your exact guest count. How do I officially start the venue search — is there a preliminary agreement before you contact venues?
To begin the venue research formally, we sign a Preliminary Venue Research Agreement — a short document that defines the scope: I contact up to three venues on your behalf, verify their availability for your dates, request full technical specifications (catering terms, accommodation, permits, rain plan), and deliver confirmed findings to you in writing.
A prepayment is required to activate the service. Within 24 hours of payment confirmation, you receive a structured venue questionnaire — your answers shape every decision from this point forward. This preliminary phase is the most important investment: you learn what is actually available and what it truly costs, before committing to anything further.
